This is a nice - albeit regrettably half-sized - zinc- (ie. 'Feinzink'-) based WH (Heeres), 'Artillerie'-related ID-disc, bearing the stamped unit-designation: '2./S.Art.Ers.Abt.69' (and being as such a disc that was worn by a soldier that served within the: '2nd.' company of the heavy artillery, replacement unit, numbered: '69'), in overall nice albeit clearly used and/or worn condition. The disc - which is executed in a fine and very clearly executed letter-type - is in overall nice condition and shows clear evidence of having been worn (it shows fairly 'torn-out' holes): it was never cleaned nor polished. The disc - which also shows the soldiers' blood-group type (type: 'A') - has never been cleaned and comes as stored for years: it originates from a small ID-disc collection I recently acquired. Simply a very nice and honest 'Heeres' artillery-related ID-disc: too bad that it is an incomplete example!
