  1. Shoulderboards & -straps (pairs)

This is an attractive - fully matching and actually very scarcely found! - pair of FAD (ie. 'Freiwilligen Arbeitsdienst') officers'-type shoulderstraps (being of the pattern as was used in the period between 1932-36) as was intended for usage by a: 'FAD-Oberfeldmeister' and that comes in an overall very nice- (ie. moderately used- and worn and/or carefully tunic-removed-), condition. The neat straps are executed in the typical, silver- and black-striped 'braid' and come mounted onto a: 'velvet-like' and/or woolen-based background (as can be seen on the pictures). The boards (which are as stated above fully matching) come in an overall nice ie. fully 'text-book' condition and still show their metal-based 'snaps' (and buttons!) with which they were once tunic-attached (as can be noticed on the pictures). These FAD-officers'-type shoulderboards (the FAD was in fact the predecessor of the RAD or: 'Reichsarbeitsdienst') were used by the officers serving within this organisation. The pair on offer here originates from a larger-sized grouping of RAD- and FAD-insignia that I recently acquired for the web-site. Simply a great occasion to acquire a desirable (and truly very hard to find!) 'Freiwilligen Arbeitsdienst'-related officers'-type shoulderboard-pair for a justified price!
