This is an attractive - and I deem just moderately used- ie. worn! - example of a WH (Heeres) 'Armwinkel' (ie.: arm-chevron) as was executed on a typical, field-grey-coloured- and/or 'HBT'-based background as was intended for usage by a soldier with the - unusually encountered! - rank of: 'Stabsgefreiter' (ie. senior-private) and that comes in an overall very nice- (and I deem minimally used- ie. worn-), condition. The chevron is neatly executed and shows a detailed, machine-embroidered- (and white-coloured) 'star' whereunder a double-stripe of bluish-grey-coloured- (ie. 'sub-dued') and/or 'standard'-pattern NCO-braid can be observed. The patch was recently found at a private-household in Germany. The piece shows an additional 'backing' as is more often observed (as can be seen on the pictures). It sounds maybe strange but these 'simple' Heeres-related rank-insignia are quite hard to encounter. Simply an attractive - and unsually found! - WH-rank-badge in the desirable 'HBT'-pattern that is I deem accordingly priced!
