Pair of WH (Heeres) 'M40'-pattern, EM-type shoulderstraps that came with its accompanying 'Überschube'-pair: 'Soldat des Infanterie-Divisions-Aufklärungs-Abtlgs. (mot) 246'
This is an attractive - fully matching and (I deem) just moderately used - pair of early- (ie. evt. pre-) war-period and/or rounded-styled, WH (Heeres) so-called: 'M40-styled', enlisted-mens'-type shoulderstraps as was piped in the neat golden-yellow- (ie. 'goldgelbener'-) coloured branchcolour and having a pair of (regular-styled, field-grey-coloured) so-called: 'Schulterstück-Überschuben' period-attached as was intended for a: 'Soldat des Infanterie-Divisions-Aufklärungs-Abteillungs (mot) 246' (or: simple soldier who served within the (motorised) army-reconnaisance unit, numbered: '246' being part of the 246th infantry-division) and that comes in an overall very nice- (ie. I deem just minimally used- ie. worn-), condition. The straps - which are approximately 10,3 cms. sized in length each - have the 'standard-pattern'- and/or typical, darker-green-coloured and/or woolen-based 'upperdecks' and show the neat golden-yellow- (ie. 'goldgelbener'-) coloured and/or: 'silk-like'-type branchcolour (ie. piping) attached (as can be seen on the pictures). The straps - which are of the 'standard-issued'- ie. non-private-production - show some minimal staining simply caused by minimal wear and/or decades of storage. Of additional interest is, moreover, the fact that this pair came with a (fully matching) pair of (field-grey-coloured- and/or woolen-based) so-called: shoulderstrap-slip-ons (ie. 'Schulterstück-Überschuben') period-attached bearing both the unit-designation: '246' (as executed in equally golden-yellow-coloured, so-called: 'Kurbelstickerei' done in wool as can be seen on the pictures). Simply a nice occasion to acquire an attractive - and fully 'text-book'! - 'M40-styled', enlisted-mens'-type shoulderstrap-pair as was intended for usage by a: 'Soldat des Infanterie-Divisions-Aufklärungs-Abteillungs (mot) 246': great to complete any early- or: evt. pre-war 'Heeres'-tunic!
