Interesting - and 'virtually mint ie. unissued'! - pair of WH (Heeres), officers'-type shoulderboards: 'Leutnant der Jäger- o. Gebirgsjäger-Trpn.'

The very attractive - and with certainty unusually seen! - pair of WH (Heeres), officers'-type shoulderboards is neatly piped in the typical darker-green- (ie. 'grüner'-) coloured branchcolour and that was as such intended for usage by a junior-officer holding the rank of a: 'Leutnant der Jäger- o. Gebirgsjäger-Truppen' (or: lieutnant who served within a mountain-troopers-regiment or unit) and that comes in an overall very nice- (I deem simply never used- nor worn- ie. still 'virtually mint- ie. issued'-), condition. The boards have the (bright) silverish-coloured 'upperdecks' (as can be noticed on the pictures). The boards show the desirable darker-green- (ie. 'grüner'-) coloured branchcolour (and were constructed from the typical 'smooth'-type wool as to be expected). The boards never had any tongues attached and were most certainly intended to be used as a pair of the 'sew-in'-pattern. The boards measure approximately 11,7 cms. in length each and were possibly issued- but simply never worn and do just show some storage-age ie. staining as to be expected. The pair - that was recently found at a German private-household. Of additional interest is, moreover, the fact that this truly 'minty' pair came still packed in its period (typical 'Cellophan'-based- and never opened!) 'wrapping-pouch' (as can be noticed on the pictures). Simply a very attractive - and desirable! - WH (Heeres), officers'-type shoulderboard-pair that was intended for usage by a: 'Leutnant der Jäger- o. Gebirgsjäger-Truppen' and that will be impossible to be upgraded!
