This is an attractive - and I deem just minimally used- ie. carefully cap-removed - (bright)golden-coloured- and/or: - I deem - typical zinc- (ie. 'Feinzink'-) based, smaller-sized, political-style visor- (ie. 'Schirmmützen'-) cap-eagle being a detailed example that shows an: 'A' (ie. 'Assmann & Sohne'-) makers'-designation on its back and that comes in an overall very nice- (ie. just minimally used- ie. once cap-attached-), condition. These cap-eagles were intended for usage on the visor-caps (ie. 'Schirmmützen') of one of the national-socialistic- (ie. party related-) organisations such as for example the DRB (ie. 'Deutscher Reichsbahn') and/or postal-service to mention a few. The eagle - which is left-facing and that has an approximate 'wingspan' of only 3,8 cms. - truly reatins great pronounced detail and comes naturally mounted onto all its - also golden-toned- and once bent but functional - pins ie. prongs in place. The piece retains almost all of its lacquered surface and shows a clearly present makers'-designation as stated above. Simply a neat occasion to acquire a very detailed and truly not that often seen 'party-style' visor-cap eagle!
