WH (LW, Heeres, KM etc.) related, metal-based so-called: 'souvenir'-ring depicting an illustration of three flying planes coupled with the text: 'Gegen Engeland'
The neat - and with certainty male-type- and somewhat larger-sized - finger-ring is I deem executed in somewhat tarnished- and silver-coloured (and copper-based) metal and retains great pronounced detail. As more often, is it totally void of a makers'-designation or alike. The ring is clearly worn ie. used (it is still a bit tarnished and has lost most of its silver-toned finish: it was, however, with certainty never cleaned nor polished). The detail on the engraved ie. molded illustration is, however, nicely preserved and void of any damage or alike (as can be seen on the pictures). The piece originates with certainty of a local production and was most certainly acquired as a souvenir before or during the war. These 'souvenir'-rings could be privately purchased from local artisans and were very popular amongst the troops. Simply a neat and 100% genuine example that originates from a German private-household where it was recently uncovered. I deem that I have priced this 'Gegen Engeland'-souvenir-ring, accordingly!
