Interesting (and complete!) 'Eisernes Kreuz II. Klasse'-set comprising of a non-maker-marked example that comes stored in its period, 'Zellstoff'-based pouch by the distributor (ie. 'Hersteller'): 'Gottlieb & Wagner - Oberstein/Nahe'

The attractive and unusually 'personalised' IC-set - which was surely issued but that was I deem hardly ie. never worn - came together with its folded and/or minimally confectioned (and approx. 20 cms. long-sized-) ribbon (ie. 'Bandabschnitt') that still retains its period-attached safety-pin. The cross - which is totally void of any makers'-designation as more often - was with certainty never cleaned and has an attractive age-patina: it shows a minimally tarnished silver-toned finish and has a minimally darkened- (ie. somewhat 'blackened'- ie. stained) finish (as can be seen on the pictures). The cross has a nicely preserved, black-finished (ie. somewhat 'satin-like'- ie. somewhat matted-) core: it is totally void of any damage nor paint-loss (as can be seen on the pictures). The piece is just a tiny bit dusty and/or stained but was never cleaned nor polished. The cross is a typical non-marked specimen that was distributed by the maker- (ie. 'Hersteller'): 'Gottlieb & Wagner' as was based in the town of Oberstein/Nahe: it has very nice and/or pronounced detail as to be expected. The 'Zellstoff'-based pouch shows some obvious wear and/or age but is fully complete and nicely preserved: it shows a red-toned, inked recipient-name on its front that simply reads: 'Jünemann' (as can be noticed on the pictures). Of additional interest is, moreover, that fact that inside the pouch(!) a small paper-document was stored that confirms that an: 'Unteroffizier Jünemann' (member within the: '2.Komp./Pz.Aufkl.Abt. 19') was issued this IC on 29-8-1944. The IC-set was recently found at a German private-household and was never before in collectors'-hands. Simply an attractive, complete albeit non-maker-marked 'EK II. Klasse'-set that is I deem accordingly priced!
