This is a truly very attractive - and I deem issued- albeit hardly used- nor even mounted! - example of a so-called: 'N.S.D.A.P. Dienstauszeichnung in Bronze' (ie. being of the '3. Stufe für 10 Jahre treue Dienste') being a neatly maker- (ie. '53'-) marked- and/or so-called: 'regular-weight'-example as executed in 'Buntmetall' and that comes together with its (non-confectioned and/or folded ie. 18 cms.-sized-) period ribbon (ie. 'Bandabschnitt') and that comes as stored for decades. The neat - and detailed! - medal has most certainly never been cleaned and retains most of its minimally tarnished and reddish-bronze-coloured finish: it truly has great pronounced detail (without showing any damage or alike). The award is just minimally tarnished (ie. dirty) caused by years of storage only. This piece shows that makers'-designation '53' stamped into its ring and is thus an example that was produced by the (not that often seen!) maker ie. 'Hersteller' named: 'Glaser & Sohn' as was based in the town of Dresden: the piece was recently found as such at a private-household in Germany and was never before in collectors'-hands. I deem that this attractive 'N.S.D.A.P.-Dienstauszeichnung in Bronze' is accordingly priced!
