Commemorative, hollow-back- and/or silverish-grey-toned, so-called: 'Feuerwehr'-related day-badge (ie. 'tinnie') as executed in zinc-based-metal that is showing the text: 'Appell der Feuerwehren Oberfrankens - Hof/Saale - 19./20. November 1938'
The very attractive - and actually quite scarcely found! - TR-period, 'Feuerwehr'- (ie. fire-brigade-) related day-badge (ie. 'tinnie' or: 'Veranstaltungsabzeichen') is (I deem) executed in silverish-grey-toned, zinc- (ie. 'Feinzink'-based metal (ie. so-called: pot-metal) and depicts a fire-man wearing a steel-helmet and ('Polizei- ie. Feuerwehr'-related) eagle-device with swastika and showing the text: 'Appell der Feuerwehren Oberfrankens - Hof/Saale - 19./20. November 1938' and was as such intended for a specific fire-brigade-related gathering that took place in November 1938. The 'hollow-back'-pattern badge comes naturally mounted onto its functional pin- ie. pin/catch set-up and was (I deem) never cleaned nor polished: it just shows some minimal staining but is still very detailed and/or pronounced. The 'tinnie' - which is void of a makers'-designation as more often - truly retains all of its (typical, somewhat tarnished) silverish-coloured finish. Simply a great occasion to acquire an attractive - and not that easily encountered! - 'Feuerwehr'-related 'Tagungs- o. Veranstaltungsabzeichen' for a justified price!
