'DRK-Ehrenzeichen des 3. Modell' that comes together with its original (regular-sized- and period-mounted) ribbon (ie. 'Bandabschnitt') as issued and/or stored for decades
The attractive - and actually not that easily found! - 'DRK-Ehrenzeichen des 3. Modell' (or: German Red Cross ie. 'Deutsches Rotes Kreuz' honorary-award of the third model) is - I deem - executed in silverish-coloured 'Buntmetall'-based metal and is a very detailed and/or pronounced example that retains a nicely preserved (and almost undamaged!) enamelled (wine-red- ie. black- and/or white-coloured) surface: it just shows some minimally damaged- ie. chipped-areas in the white-toned rim (as can be seen on the pictures). It came mounted onto its original, bright-red-coloured (and approximately 18 cms.-sized) folded- and slightly confectioned ribbon (ie. 'Bandabschnitt') as issued and/or stored for decades. The award - which was surely issued as such - has a truly nice, somewhat 'shiny' age-patina and is also a tiny bit dirty but was never cleaned nor polished (as can be seen on the pictures). The award - which is of the third pattern that was issued in the period 1937-1939 - came as issued and/or recently found. The medal was with certainty issued as such and was stored for decades: it originates from a private-household in Germany where it was recently uncovered. Simply an attractive - and completely untouched! - example of an attractive: 'DRK-Ehrenzeichen des 3. Modell' that will be hard to be upgraded and that is I deem accordingly priced!
