Detailed, aluminium-based 'plaque' ie. shield (being of the second pattern) as was intended for usage on a: WH (Heeres) 'Schützenschnur' (or shooting- ie. marksmanship-lanyard)
This is a neat example of a - detailed and/or typical aluminium-based - 'plaque' ie. shield (being of the second pattern) as was specifically intended for usage onto a: WH (Heeres) 'Schützenschnur' (or: shooting- ie. marksmanship-lanyard) and that comes in an overall nice- (albeit I deem used and/or minimally worn-), condition. The shield - which is void of any marking nor designation as more often encountered - comes in an overall fine and still functional condition and shows no damage whatsoever: just some aging and/or slight staining is present and/or visible. The detail is really pronounced and/or detailed: it has a nice age-patina and has acquired some tarnish over the years (it was, however, never cleaned nor polished). The badge still retains all its four (copper-based- and/or still fully functional) prongs as issued. Simply an attractive and decorative replacement-piece: ideally fitted to restore or complete any 'Heeres'-shooting- ie. marksmanship-lanyard!
