Very unusual - and rarely encountered! - DRK nurses'-badge entitled: 'Schwesternschaft der Reichshauptstadt' being a multi-piece-contructed example showing a low bearers'-number: ('C1426') and/or makers'-designation ie. logo ('Lauer')

This is an attractive - very unusual and with certainty rarely encountered! - DRK-related nurses'-badge entitled: 'Schwesternschaft der Reichshauptstadt' being a typical multi-piece-assembled example as constructed from (partly coloured- ie. painted) zinc-based metal (ie. 'Feinzink') that is showing a low bearers'-number: ('C1426') and/or makers'-designation ('Lauer') ie. logo ('LN 1700') and that comes in an overall very nice- (albeit I deem just moderately used- and/or worn-), condition. The piece was clearly worn and does show some (minimal) usage marks (ie. minimal paint-loss) as can be noticed on the pictures: moreover, does it show some regular wear and shows some minor scratches ie. wear-marks (as can be seen on the pictures). The fairly large-sized lapel-pin is nicely maker-marked: ('Lauer') ie. is additionally showing a makers'-logo ('LN 1700') and also is engraved with a (unique!) bearers'-number that reads: 'C1426'. The badge most certainly belonged to a nurse that worked in a hospital or clinic based in the town of Berlin (something that is obvious due to the encountered text on its front). The neat badge comes mounted onto its fully functional and totally unaltered pin and/or pin-/catch (set-up). A similar badge is also figured in the 'Heering-Hüsken'-lapel-pin-catalogue, wherein it is given the unique reference-number: 5630AB and an estimated value of 450 Eu. Simply a very attractive and honest example of this desirable DRK-related 'Schwesternschaft'-lapel-pin that comes not that often offered for sale and that is I deem accordingly priced!
