Two-pieced, WH (Heeres o. Kriegsmarine) medal-bar (ie.: 'Doppelspange') showing resp. an Austrian and Czech 'Anschluss'-medal (which latter comes with a firmly attached 'Prager Burg-Spange')

This is a truly very decorative - and in this combination with certainty not that easily found! - example of a two-pieced, WH (Heeres- o. Kriegsmarine-related-) medal-bar (ie. 'Ordenspange' or: 'Doppelspange') respectively showing a: 'Medaille zur Erinnerung an den 13. März 1938' (or: Austrian 'Anschluss'-medal as was awarded to all members of the armed forces that participated in the German occupation of Austria that started on: '13. März 1938') and a: 'Medaille zur Erinnerung an den 1. Oktober 1938' (or: Czech 'Anschluss'-medal as was awarded to all members of the armed forces that participated in the German occupation of Czechoslowakia that started on: '1. Oktober 1938') and that comes with a firmly attached 'Prager Burg-Spange', both medals (and 'Spange'!) coming in an overall very nice- (albeit just minimally used and/or worn-), condition. Both medals are nicely preserved examples that seem to have never been cleaned nor polished: both come in an equally minimally tarnished- ie. dusty condition and naturally also come mounted onto their period ribbons. Both 'Anschluss'-medals retain almost all of their original, silver- ie. golden-bronze-toned finish: they are just a bit dirty ie. tarnished, simply caused by minimal wear and/or decades of storage (something that is also valid for the attached, detailed: 'Prager Burg-Spange'). The 'Spange' comes naturally mounted onto its functional pin- (ie. catch-) set-up and is nicely 'backed' with a piece of greyish-coloured (rib-styled) linnen as is more often seen (as can be seen on the pictures). The medal-bar was recently found at a private-household in Germany and was never before part of a collection. The 'Spange' is most certainly a period-compiled- and/or worn piece and is NOT a post-war compilation or alike: it originated as stated above from a private-household and was kept as such for decades. Simply a very attractive - and decorative! - 2-pieced, WH (Heeres- o. Kriegsmarine) related medal-bar- ie. 'Doppelspange' that is in my opinion accordingly priced!
