'Cut-out of a tunic' - WH (Heeres) EM- (ie. NCO-) type breasteagle (ie. 'Brustadler für Mannschaften und Unteroffiziere des Heeres')
This is a neat - and actually quite unusually seen! - and just moderately worn example of a WH (Heeres) EM- (ie. NCO-) type M41- (ie. M43-) pattern breasteagle (ie. 'Brustadler für Mannschaften und Unteroffiziere des Heeres') being a BeVo-woven example as executed in silverish-grey-coloured linnen onto a field-grey-toned background and that comes still (period-machine-sewn!) onto a (fairly large-sized!) piece of a: Heeres tunic (ie. 'Feldbluse') and that comes in a moderately used- and/or carefully 'clearly cut-out of a tunic', condition. The breast-eagle comes still mounted onto a piece of typical field-grey-coloured tunic-cloth ie. wool: moreover, is the piece neatly sewn-on by means of 'zig zag'-machine-stitching (as can be noticed on the pictures). The (unique) piece originated from the USA where it was stored for decades a so-called: 'veteran bring-back'. Simply an attractive - and truly unusually found! - WH (Heeres) M40-pattern breast-eagle ie. 'cut-out-piece' that is I deem accordingly priced!
