Commemorative, golden-bronze-toned and/or tin-based: 'N.S.K.O.V.'- (ie. veteran-) related 'tinnie' being a non-maker-marked example showing the text: 'Kameradschaftstreffen Pfälzischer Soldaten - Landau - 2. Aug.1936'
The attractive - and I deem 'Nationalsozialistischer Kriegsopferversorsung'- (ie. 'N.S.K.O.V.'-) related - 'day-badge (ie. 'tinnie' or: 'Veranstaltungsabzeichen') is executed in golden-bronze-coloured- (and I deem) tin-based so-called: pot-metal: it shows some minimal wear and/or moderate age (but has never been cleaned nor polished and retains a nicely preserved, age-patina). The oval-shaped badge comes naturally mounted onto its functional pin- ie. catch set-up and shows some minimal age- and/or staining (as can be seen on the pictures). The 'tinnie' is quite detailed and shows an illustration of a detailed 'Reichsadler'-device, lion and building and depicts the text as mentioned above. It should be noted that all 'N.S.K.O.V.-related tinnies that were intended to commemorate an event at towns-level (such as the piece on offer here) saw much more limited usage and can easily be graded 'fairly scarce'. Of course, did I price this attractive - and with certainty not that often seen! - example accordingly!
