Interesting, WH (Heeres) so-called: 'Jäger'-armbadge being a neatly machine-embroidered- and/or multi-coloured version as was executed on darker-green-coloured 'felt-based'-wool
This is an attractive - and I deem hardly used- nor worn! - example of a WH (Heeres) so-called: 'Jäger'-armbadge being a neatly machine-embroidered- and/or multi-coloured version as was executed on darker-green-coloured (ie. 'felt-like') wool that comes mounted onto a piece of field-grey-toned wool and that comes in an overall nice- (ie. I deem hardly used and/or possibly once tunic-attached-), condition. The badge on offer here was (I deem) issued and/or used: it just shows some minimal age ie. staining. These decorative (arm-) badges were worn on the right-upper-sleeve by the troops that were attached to the various 'Jäger'- (ie. rifle- ie. infantry-related-) regiments (being some sort of mid-war-period, infantry-related units). Simply a nice occasion to acquire such a neat 'Heeres-Jäger'-armbadge for a competitive price!
