Linnen-based- and/or neatly 'machine-embroidered', beige-white-coloured DRK- (ie. 'Deutsches Rotes Kreuz'-) armband (ie. 'Armbinde') as was intended for the staff-members serving with the: 'Deutsches Rotes Kreuz' (or: German Red Cross)

This is an attractive example of a (typical) linnen-based- and/or neatly 'machine-embroidered', beige-white-coloured DRK- (ie. 'Deutsches Rotes Kreuz'-) armband (ie. 'Armbinde') as was intended for usage by the various staff-members of the: 'Deutsches Rotes Kreuz' (or: German Red Cross) and that comes in an overall very nice- (ie. I deem hardly used- nor worn- ie. still 'virtually mint'-), condition. These neat beige-white-coloured and/or: linnen-based armbands showing the (interwoven) text: 'Deutsches Rotes Kreuz' were used by the various voluntary (civil and mainly female) staff-members serving within the: 'Deutsches Rotes Kreuz' (or: German Red Cross). The armband on offer here comes in a full-length condition and measures (folded) approximately 29 x 12,5 cms.: it is executed on somewhat 'course-like' linnen (as can be seen on the pictures). The piece shows some minimal staining ie. dust simply caused by decades of storage and/or minimal wear. This example is totally void of an ink-stamp (ie. 'Dienstsiegel') something that is more often encountered (as can be seen on the pictures). Simply a very attractive example of a: 'Deutsches Rotes Kreuz'-armband that is I deem accordingly priced!
