Superb, WH (Heeres ie. Waffen-SS) 'Demjansk'-campaign-shield as executed in typical magnetic metal (ie. so-called: 'Eisenblech') and that comes in an overall very nice- ie. fully untouched-, condition

This is a truly very attractive - and/or very detailed! - example of the (actually nowadays fairly scarcely encountered!) WH (Heeres ie. Waffen-SS) so-called: 'Demjansk'-campaign-shield and that comes in an overall very nice- (I deem issued- albeit simply never tunic-attached- ie. still 'virtually mint'-), condition. The (typical magnetic and minimally converse-shaped) campaign-shield - which is executed in greyish-silver-coloured metal (ie.: 'Eisenblech') - comes naturally complete with its metal-based back-plate and retains all its four, originally-attached pins ie. prongs in place and retains most of its (typical black-toned- and shiny-styled) so-called 'backing'-paper (as can be seen on the pictures). The shield - that comes mounted onto its piece of field-grey-woolen cloth - shows some minimal aging caused by storage and moderate wear: some truly minimal staining is visible and/or present but it still retains very nice detail as to be expected. The shield was found at a private-household in Germany and was simply stored as such for decades: it was never before in a collection. It should furthermore be mentioned that these 'Demjansk'-campaign-shields are nowadays hard to come by. Simply a very nice - and naturally original! - example of this collectable and desirable campaign-shield that nowadays is not that often offered for sale: I deem that I have priced this very attractive (and truly still 'virtually mint'-!) example accordingly!
