This is an attractive example of a silver-coloured- (and/or typical aluminium-based) WH (Luftwaffe) ie. 'Luftnachrichten'-related ID-disc (ie. 'Erkennungsmarke') bearing the clearly stamped unit-designation that simply reads: 'L.N. Komp. Wels' (and as such being a disc that was - I deem - intended for a soldier (ie. officer) who served within a specific 'Luftnachrichten'- (ie. signals) related unit that was situated in or around the Austrian town of 'Wels') and that comes stored in its period (typical-leather-based) pouch and that comes in an overall very nice- (albeit clearly used ie. worn-), condition. The attractive disc comes in an overall very nice condition (and is executed in a very attractive letter-type!) and shows the clear evidence of having been used ie. worn (it shows somewhat 'torn-out' holes as can be seen on the pictures). The disc is void of a soldiers'-blood-group-type but shows the (fairly) low number: '302' (as can be seen on the pictures). The disc was never cleaned nor polished (it is still a bit stained and/or dirty). Of additional interest is, moreover, the fact that this disc came still mounted onto its period cord and period-stored in its leather-based pouch as worn (as can be seen on the pictures). The disc originates from a larger ID-disc collection that was compiled over many years. Simply an attractive and honest WH (Luftwaffe) ie. 'Luftnachrichten'-related ID-disc that is with certainty accordingly priced!
