Moderately used - and fully matching! - pair of WH (Heeres) EM-type (ie. 'M40-pattern, rounded-style) shoulderstraps as was specifically intended for usage by a: 'Soldat u. Uffz.-Anwärter der Pionier-Trpn.'
This is an attractive - fully matching and actually quite scarcely found! - pair of WH (Heeres) early-war-period, so-called: 'M40'-pattern (and rounded-style) enlisted-mens'-type shoulderstraps having the black- (ie. 'schwarzer'-) coloured branchcolour as was intended for - and clearly worn by! - a: 'Soldat und Unteroffiziers-Anwärter der Pionier-Truppen' (or: simple soldier and/or NCO-candidate who served within an army-enigineers unit) and that comes in an overall very nice- (albeit moderately used ie. worn- ie. I deem clearly tunic-removed-), condition. The shoulderstraps - which are both approximately 10,5 cms. sized in length - have the 'standard-type'- and/or and/or darker-green-coloured, (smooth)woolen-based 'upperdecks' and woolen-type, black- (ie. 'schwarzer'-) toned piping (as can be seen on the pictures). The straps - which came mounted onto their functional tongues - show as stated above some moderate usage and/or wear (some minor staining and/or dust is visible and/or present). The straps came with a pair of (firmly attached!) single 'slip-ons' (ie. 'Laschen') which are constructed from greyish-silver-toned (and green piped!) NCO-braid attached denoting that the soldier who wore this pair was also a:n 'Unteroffiziers-Anwärter' (or NCO-candidate). This shoulderstrap-pair originates from an older shoulderstrap ie. board-collection that I recently acquired for the web-site. Simply an attractive and/or: early-war-period, 'Heeres'-related EM-type shoulderstrap-pair that was intended for usage by a: 'Soldat und Unteroffiziers-Anwärter der Pionier-Truppen' and that is accordingly priced!
