Superb - and hardly used- nor worn! - 'Panzerkampfabzeichen in Bronze' being a clearly maker- (ie. 'KWM'-) marked (and/or: typical zinc- ie. This is a very attractive - truly desirable and hardly used- nor worn! - example of a zinc-based- (and 'solid-back'-pattern), so-called: 'Panzerkampfabzeichen in Bronze' (or: bronze-class panzer-assault badge or PAB) being a maker- (ie. 'KWM'-) marked and/or: zinc- (ie. 'Feinzink'-) based example as was with certainty procuced by the: 'Karl Würster'-company and that comes in an overall very nice- (and I deem hardly used- nor worn-), condition. The badge on offer here concerns a typical zinc- ie. 'Feinzink'-based specimen that retains almost all of its bronze-coloured finish (something that is NOT always the case): the neat piece has a somewhat 'darkened' ie. typical 'KWM'-like appearance. The badge has - I deem - not been cleaned nor polished and is just a bit tarnished as mentioned above. As stated above, is the piece a clearly maker-marked, 'solid-back'-example and shows various characteristics - such as for example the typical copper-based pin and/or high-modelled 'catch' which are both functional and totally unaltered. The piece is a typical example as produced by the: 'Karl Würster'-company based in the town of Marneukirchen: it deals with a so-called: 'KWM classic pattern piece' (as uniquely numbered with the reference-number: '1.2.5' according to the excellent reference-work entitled: 'The Panzer-Assault badge of WWII' by my Belgian friend Philippe de Bock). The piece - which is very pronounced and that has great pronounced detail! - naturally shows all the details as to be expected for a badge by this particular maker. It was recently uncovered at a private-household in Germany and was never before in collectors'-hands. Simply a very attractive and honest bronze-class, 'KWM classic pattern'-PAB that comes in an overall very nice and hardly used condition: I deem that I priced it according to its very nice and totally untouched condition!
