Interesting, period wallet (ie. 'Geldbörse') that takes the format of a smaller-sized, WH (Heeres) ie. 'Nachschub'- (or: transport-) related side-cap (ie. 'Schiffchenmütze')
This is an interesting - most certainly not that often seen, smaller-sized- and with certainty period! - wallet (ie. 'Geldbörse') takes the format of a smaller-sized (ie. measuring approx. 11,8 x 8 cms.) WH (Heeres) ie. 'Nachschub'- (or transport-) related side-cap (ie. 'Schiffchenmütze') and that comes in an overall nice- (and only moderately used-), condition. The souvenir-side-cap (ie. 'Schiffchenmütze') is entirely constructed from field-grey-coloured wool as its regular-sized counterparts and shows the bright-blue- (ie. 'kornblumenblauer'-) toned piping (ie. 'Waffenfarbe' or branchcolour): moreover, does it show an equally coloured 'Soutache-Winkel' and two (aluminium-based) pips attached on its sides (as can be noticed on the pictures). The piece shows a (regular-sized) set of 'BeVo'-woven side-cap-insignia period-attached (by means of machine-stitching) but misses its zip- (ie. zip-closure). This interesting smaller-sized souvenir-item was recently found as such at a German private-household and was stored as such for decades. Simply a neat - and most certainly not that often seen! - period 'souvenir-item' that is I deem, accordingly priced!
