Single, WH (Heeres) neatly 'cyphered', officers'-type shoulderboard as was piped in the bright-red branchcolour as was intended for a: 'Leutnant des Artillerie-Lehr-Abts. 3'
This is an attractive - albeit regrettably single! - neatly 'cyphered', officers'-type shoulderboard having the bright-red-coloured branchcolour as was intended for usage by a: 'Leutnant des Artillerie-Lehr-Abteilungs 3' (or: junior-officer ie. lieutnant and/or student who served at one of the artillery-troops-related, army training-institutes numbered: '3') and that comes in an overall very nice- (albeit I deem hardly used nor worn- and/or I deem carefully tunic-removed-), condition. The shoulderboard which is approximately 11,3 cms. sized in length and that is piped in the neat bright-red- (ie. 'roter'-) coloured branchcolour as to be expected shows a neat (bright golden-coloured, 'Buntmetall'-based, Gothic-styled- and/or: larger-sized) so-called: 'L'-cypher (ie. 'Ziffer') and an (equally styled, smaller-sized) '3'-numeral period-attached denoting that the strap was intended for a junior-officer who held the rank of: 'Leutnant' (ie. lieutnant). Both devices show some regular age and/or minimal tarnish but are still very nicely preserved. The strap came mounted onto its (smaller-sized, typical officers'-type) tongue attached and does show some minimal age-, wear and/or staining (as can be seen on the pictures). The piece was never before in collectors'-hands and was recently found as such. Simply an attractive 'Heeres', officers'-type shoulderstrap that belonged to a: 'Leutnant des Artillerie-Lehr-Abteilungs 3': too bad that it is only a single specimen!
