Commemorative 'Waffenring Deutscher Kavallerie'- (ie. 'WDK'-) related 'tinnie' depicting two horses coupled with the text: 'Gute Kameraden' and '7. Waffentag der deutschen Kavallerie - Karlsruhe - 12.-14. Juni 1937'
The truly attractive - unusually seen and fairly high-quality produced! - day-badge (ie. 'tinnie' or: 'Veranstaltungsabzeichen') is executed in bright-silverish-toned and I deem zinc-based metal and depicts an illustration of two horses, swastika and WDK horseshoe-logo coupled with the text: 'Gute Kameraden' and showing the text and date: '7. Waffentag der deutschen Kavallerie - Karlsruhe - 12.-14. Juni 1937' and that was as such intended for a 'Waffenring Deutscher Kavallerie'- (ie. 'WDK'-) related gathering that was held in the year 1937. The oval-shaped day-badge (having an approximate height of only 5 cms.) shows some normal wear and/or moderate age and comes naturally mounted onto its functional pin-/catch set-up and has (I deem) never been cleaned nor polished: it shows some minimal staining (as can be seen on the pictures) but is still very detailed and/or pronounced (as can be seen on the pictures). The 'tinnie' retains almost all of its (fairly shiny) silverish-coloured finish and shows a clearly-present makers'-designation on its back that reads: 'Hauschag - Pforzheim' (as can be noticed on the pictures). Simply a great occasion to acquire an attractive (and most certainly not that often seen!) 'Waffenring Deutscher Kavallerie'- (ie. 'WDK'-) related so-called: 'Tagungs- o. Veranstaltungsabzeichen' for an interesting price!
