This an attractive - just moderately worn and actually truly not that easily encountered! - example of a WH (Heeres) 'standard-pattern', field-grey-toned- and/or aluminium-based belt-buckle (ie. 'Koppelschloss für Unteroffiziere u. Mannschaften des Heeres') being maker- (ie. 'H. Arld - Nuernberg'-) marked- and/or: '1937'-dated example that comes mounted onto its light-brown-toned and genuine leather-based tab and that comes as recently found and/or stored for decades. The buckle truly retains a fair bit of its (typical) field-grey- (ie. olive-green-) coloured sprayed surface (just some regular paint-loss ie. wear is noticable something that is not often encountered as can be seen on the pictures). The piece shows an 'oval'-shaped, impressed stamp on the leather-based tab (as can be seen on the pictures). The stamp shows the producing-company (ie. 'H. Arld - Nuernberg') and the year of production '1937' (as can be seen on the pictures). The buckle - that itself also shows the makers'-designation 'HK' onto its back (as can be noticed on the pictures) - came mounted onto its used but still totally souple - and of course still functional - brownish-coloured and genuine leather-based 'tab' (as can be seen on the pictures). It should be noted that this deals with a buckle that was produced by a not that often encountered maker. I deem that I have priced this attractive - and with certainty not that ofen seen! - WH (Heeres) belt-buckle, accordingly!
