This is a truly attractive - and naturally 100% genuine! - example of a WH (Luftwaffe) enlisted-mens'- ie. NCO-) pattern cuff-title ie. armband (ie. 'Ärmelstreifen für Mannschaften u. Unteroffiziere der Luftwaffe') entitled: 'Geschwader Hindenburg' and that comes in a probably issued- albeit 'virtually mint'- and/or non-shortened, condition. The armband comes - as stated above - in a still full-length- (ie. non-shortened) condition (ie. it measures approximately 45 cms. in length). Both ends are unfinished as is more often encountered. The armband - which originates from a private-household in Germany where it was recently uncovered - simply shows no wear nor age and was as such most certainly issued- and/or stored as such for decades. The cuff-title - which does show some minimal (storage)age and/or staining - is executed in the neat (ie. 'smooth-type') darker-blue-coloured wool and shows the machine-stitched title 'Geschwader Hindenburg' in silverish-white-coloured (and also linnen-based) thread as is more often encountered. Simply a very nice - and naturally 100% genuine, period example that was issued to a pilot serving in a famous 'LW-Geschwader' and that is priced according to its pristine- and/or fully untouched, condition!
