Silver-toned WH (Heeres) 'Gebirgsjäger'-related item: a semi-official, so-called: 'Truppen-Traditionsabzeichen des 5. Gebirgsjäger-Division' being a (typical) non-maker-marked example depicting the famous 'Gams'-symbol

This is an attractive - and actually truly scarcely found! - bright-silver-toned (and I deem silvered 'Buntmetall'-based!), WH (Heeres) 'Gebirgsjäger'-related item: a semi-official, so-called: 'Truppen-Traditionsabzeichen des 5. Gebirgsjäger-Division' that is depicting the famous 'Gams'-symbol and that comes in an overall very nice- (albeit I deem clearly used- ie. worn-), condition. The lapel-pin - that comes mounted onto its somewhat smaller-sized- and/or unaltered pin - depicts the divisional-symbol of the '5. Gebirgsjäger-Division' (being a mountain-goat or 'Gams'). The piece is (as more often) void of a makers'-designation (as can be seen on the pictures). The piece shows most of its silvered finish: it has really nice and/or pronounced detail. This example was never before part of a collection and originates from a German household where it was recently uncovered. Simply a very attractive - and without doubt scarcely seen! - 'Gebirgsjäger'-related, so-called: 'Truppen-Traditionsabzeichen des 5. Gebirgsjäger-Division'!
