WH (Kriegsmarine) 'Marine-Artillerie-Abzeichen' being a typical zinc- (ie. 'Feinzink'-) based example by the desirable maker- (ie. 'Hersteller') 'C.E. Juncker - Berlin'
This is an attractive example of an - I deem somewhat later-war-period - WH (Kriegsmarine) 'Marine-Artillerie-Abzeichen' (or: coastal-artillery war-badge) being a neatly maker- (ie. 'Fec. Otto Placzek - Berlin - C.E. Juncker - Berlin'-) marked and/or typical zinc- (ie. 'Feinzink'-) based example that comes as moderately used ie. worn and that comes in an overall nice, condition. The award retains its typical (C.E. Juncker -type) catch (-set-up) and comes naturally mounted on its (also zinc-based- and/or flute-shaped) pin: it also has a typical hinge- and/or catch in place as to be expected: these are both not altered nor damaged and are of course still fully functional. The badge - which still has maintained very pronounced detail - has never been cleaned nor polished but has lost most of its (presumably once golden-toned) finish: this colour has just faded-away ie. has 'migriert' over the years as is more often observed (as can be noticed on the pictures). I deem that I have priced this still attractive 'Küstenartillerie'-related-award by the desirable maker- (ie. 'Hersteller') 'C.E. Juncker - Berlin' according to its moderately used- (but nevertheless nicely preserved!), condition!
