The attractive - and truly early period! - 'Deutsche Reichswehr'-related-belt buckle (ie. 'Koppelschloss für Unteroffiziere u. Mannschaften der Reichwehr') is only moderately used and/or worn but has still maintained a somewhat shiny, silverish- and/or typical 'nickle-chromed'-finish without showing any defaults nor damage (it has - I deem - never been cleaned nor polished and only shows some dust and/or staining as to be expected). The piece is as stated above totally void of a makers'-designation nor date (as can be seen on the pictures) but can I deem be dated around 1930: this type of buckle (showing the Reichseagle-device without swastika) was worn upto 1934 when it was replaced by the regular 'Wehrmacht'-model. The piece orginates from an older belt-buckle-collection that was compiled over many years and that I acquired for the web-site. I deem that I have priced this attractive 'Reichswehr'-period belt-buckle accordingly!
