Pair of neatly 'cyphered', so-called: 'M41- (ie. M43-) pattern', WH (Heeres) NCO-type shoulderstraps as was specifically intended for a: 'Feldwebel des Maschinengewehr-Abtgs. 2'
The truly attractive - fully matching and with certainty scarcely found! - neatly 'cyphered', WH (Heeres) NCO-type (and 'Infanterie'-related!) shoulderstrap-pair is (I deem) of the early- (ie. mid-war-) period- (ie. 'M41- o. M43'-) pattern and does show some obvious age, wear and/or minimal staining. The straps have the field-grey-coloured- and/or woolen-based 'upperdecks' and do show the neat white- (ie. 'weisser'-) coloured branchcolour and/or desirable, 'silk-like'-type piping attached (as can be seen on the pictures). The shoulderstraps come mounted onto their functional tongues attached and was with certainty a pair that was used onto a 'front-type'-tunic. The straps - which measure approximately 11,8 cms. in length each and that show the 'standard-issue'- (ie. early 'dotted'- and/or non-sub-dued-) pattern NCO-braid attached - were used by a: 'Feldwebel' (ie. NCO or sergeant) who was attached to a specific: 'Maschinengewehr-Abteilung', numbered: '2' (being a specific army- ie. infantry-related, machine-gunners unit). The straps show a neat greyish-silver-toned pair of (Gothic-styled, larger-sized and/or 'Buntmetall'-based) so-called: 'M'-cyphers (ie. 'Ziffern'), a pair of (larger-sized and equally-styled) '2'-numerals and a pair of (equally styled and/or regular-sized) pips, period-attached. It should be noted that ALL NCO-pattern, 'Maschinengewehr'-related shoulderstraps can easily be regarded 'fairly scarce' (even more so when they are neatly 'cyphered' as this pair on offer here). This pair originates from an older shoulderstrap ie. board-collection that I recently acquired for the web-site. Simply, a neat early- (ie. mid-) war-period, NCO-type shoulderstrap-pair as was specifically intended for usage by a: 'Feldwebel des Maschinengewehr-Abteilungs 2' and that is I deem with certainty accordingly priced!
