Pair of WH (Heeres), early- (ie. mid-) war-period so-called: 'M40'-styled, NCO-type 'cyphered' shoulderstraps: 'Feldwebel der Gebirgsjäger-Truppen u. Mitglied einer Gebirgsjägerschule'

This is a truly atttractive - very desirable and fully matching! - pair of WH (Heeres) early- (ie. mid-) war-period, so-called: 'M40'-styled, NCO-type 'cyphered' shoulderstraps as piped in the typical darker-green- (ie. 'grüner'-) coloured branchcolour as was specifically intended for usage by - and clearly used by! - 'Feldwebel der Gebirgsjäger-Truppen u. Mitglied einer Gebirgsjägerschule' (or: sergeant and presumably trainer who served within a mountain-troops-related school) and that comes in an overall nice- (albeit moderately used and/or most certainly worn-), condition. The neat straps - which have the 'standard'-pattern, darker-green-coloured and/or woolen-based 'upperdecks' - have the neat darker-green- (ie. 'grüner'-) coloured and/or woolen-type-piping attached (as can be seen on the pictures). The straps measure approximately 11 cms. in length and are fully matching in style and/or execution: it deals with a typical, 'standard-issued'-pair that was always together as such. The straps (which come mounted onto their functional but I deem period-added tongues attached) have the 'standard'-pattern and/or silverish-grey-coloured (ie. somewhat sub-dued) WH 'Heeres'-type NCO-braid attached: furthermore, does the pair show a pair of identical (regular-sized- and/or aluminium-based) pips and a neat pair of (larger-sized, fully matching and also aluminium-based) so-called: 'S'-cyphers (ie. 'Ziffern') period-attached, denoting that the NCO who wore this set was an NCO ie. 'Feldwebel der Gebirgsjäger-Truppen u. Mitglied einer Gebirgsjägerschule'. All four devices show some minimal wear ie. are minimally tarnished. The pair was just moderately used and/or worn: it shows the evident age, wear and/or staining as to be expected. Simply a great occasion to acquire an attractive - and with certainty very desirable! - NCO-type, 'Gebirgsjäger'-related shoulderstrap-pair that belonged to a: 'Feldwebel der Gebirgsjäger-Truppen u. Mitglied einer Gebirgsjägerschule'!
