Pair of early-war-period, WH (Heeres) 'M40'-pattern collar-patches (ie. 'Einheitskragenspiegel') as piped in the bright-orange-coloured branchcolour as intended for usage by a: 'Soldat der Feldgendarmerie-Trpn.'
This is a very attractive - truly very hard to find and fully matching! - pair of (I deem) early-war period, WH (Heeres) 'M40'-pattern collar-patches (ie. 'Einheitskragenspiegel') as was piped in the neat bright-orange- (ie. 'orangeroter'-) coloured branchcolour as was specifically intended for usage by a: 'Soldat der Feldgendarmerie-Truppen' (or: soldier ie. NCO who served within an army, field-police staff-member) and that comes in an overall nice- (ie. clearly issued- and/or carefully tunic-removed-), condition. The tabs have the desirable bright-orange- (ie. 'orangeroter'-) coloured branchcolour signifying that they were intended for a soldier (ie. NCO) who served within an army field-police unit. Both tabs are nicely 'pre-mounted' (ie. machine-stitched) onto a darker-green-coloured- (and/or 'smooth'-woolen-based) background as more often seen (as can be seen on the pictures). The pair - which was once mounted onto a tunic - shows the typical, buckram-based backings (as can be seen on the pictures). Simply a great occasion to acquire a very attractive - and actually very scarcely encountered! - 'M40'-pattern collar-tab-pair that comes in a truly desirable branchcolour ie. 'Waffenfarbe'!
