Hardly ie. never worn example of a WH (Heeres) cuff-title ie. armband (ie. 'Ärmelstreifen') entitled: 'Feldgendarmerie' (being a typical 'BeVo'-woven example)
This is a truly very attractive - and I deem issued, albeit hardly used- nor once tunic-attached - example of a WH (Heeres) cuff-title ie. armband (ie. 'Ärmelstreifen') entitled: 'Feldgendarmerie' (being of the typical so-called: 'BeVo'-woven-pattern) that comes in an overall very nice- (ie. non-shortened- and/or full-length-), condition. The armband measures approximately 44 cms. in length and both ends (that were once folded) do show some minimal fraying as is more often encountered (something that can be seen on the pictures). The armband - which originates from a private-household in Germany where it was recently uncovered - was as such most certainly stored for decades and shows some age and/or minimal staining (as can be noticed on the pictures). The cuff-title that is of the typical so-called: 'BeVo'-woven-pattern is executed in the typical brownish-coloured linnen and shows the machine-stitched title in bluish-grey-coloured (and also linnen-based) thread as is more often encountered: as such does it deal with a typical example that was intended for enlisted-men (and NCOs) ie. being an: 'Ausführung für Unteroffiziere u. Mannschaften der Feldgendarmerie-Truppen'. Simply a very nice - and naturally 100% genuine! - period example that will be impossible to be upgraded and that is I deem accordingly priced!
