This is a very attractive - fully matching and as such actually scarcely encountered! - early- (ie. pre-war-) period, WH (Heeres), 'M36'- (ie. 'M40'-) type, pointed-styled and neatly 'cyphered' (and/or per regulation non-piped ie. generic-styled!) enlisted-mens'-type shoulderstraps as was intended for - and with certainty worn by! - a: 'Soldat u. Mitglied des Artillerie-Regiments 50' (or: simple soldier who served within the artillery regiment, numbered: '50') and that comes in an overall very nice- (albeit moderately used and/or worn- ie. carefully tunic-removed-), condition. The neat shoulderstraps have the darker-green-coloured, woolen-based 'upperdecks' as to be expected and have (as per regulation) no piping attached: they are from the 'generic'-pattern (as can be seen on the pictures). The straps come mounted onto their functional tongues attached and measure approx. 11 cms. in length each. Both straps show the neat (larger-sized) so-called: '5'- and/or: '0'-numerals (ie. cyphers) attached (which 'Ziffern' are excuted in bright-red-toned wool in so-called: 'Kurbelstickerei' as can be seen on the pictures). The straps do just show some minimal age and/or wear (some minor staining and/or dust is visible- ie. present). It should be noted that all 'cyphered'-type shoulderstraps can be easily regarded 'scarce'. This attractive pair was never in collectors'-hands and was recently found at a German private-household. This pair came with a set of (field-grey-toned, pebbled-styled) company tunic-buttons attached that show the numeral: '6.' (these are unusually, firmly attached onto the tongues). Simply a very attractive and/or early- (ie. pre-) war period, 'cyphered Heeres'-related EM-type shoulderstrap-pair as was specifically intended for a: 'Soldat u. Mitglied des Artillerie-Regiments 50': I deem that I have priced this very attractive and neatly 'cyphered' EM-type pair, accordingly!
