Pair of WH (KM) officers'-type shoulderboards: 'Kapitänleutnant der Kriegsmarine'

This is a very attractive - just minimally used- and/or worn but fully matching! - WH (Kriegsmarine) officers'-type shoulderboard-pair that is constructed from darker-blue- (ie. almost black!) coloured wool as was specifically intended for usage by a: 'Kapitänleutnant der Kriegsmarine' (or: naval-officer holding the comparable rank of a captain ie. 'Hauptmann') and that comes in an overall very nice- (and I deem just minimally used ie. worn- and/or clearly tunic-removed-), condition. The shoulderboards never had any tongues attached and were clearly intended for usage as a pair of the 'sew-in'-pattern: they are truly 'text-book'-examples of the 'Kriegsmarine'-type officers-type -shoulderboards and have the silverish-toned (ie. minimally tarnished-) 'upperdecks'. The boards are constructed from smooth-type wool as to be expected and show each a pair of (regular-sized, golden-toned- and/or: 'Buntmetall'-based- albeit minimally tarnished) pips period-attached, denoting the officers'-rank of a: 'Kapitänleutnant der Kriegsmarine'. The boards measure approximately 10,3 cms. in length each. Of interest is, moreover, the fact that this pair came with a pair of bright-golden-toned so-called: anchor-'Schraubknöpfe' (as can be noticed on the pictures). The attractive pair was most certainly used and/or worn as such and does show some minimal age, wear and/or staining. Simply a neat - and comparatively scarcely encountered! - naval officers'-type shoulderboard-pair that belonged to a: 'Kapitänleutnant der Kriegsmarine'!
