The truly attractive - and actually very unusually seen! - WH (Heeres) 'Infanterie'-related enlisted-mens' shoulderstraps do show the desirable white- (ie. 'weisser'-) coloured and/or: typical 'silk-like'-type piping attached and measure approximately 10 cms. in length each and are clearly of the so-called: 'last-ditch'- (ie. 'M44 o. M45'-) pattern. The shoulderstraps - that came with a pair of field-grey-toned tunic-buttons attached - are constructed from the (field-grey-toned- and/or quite roughly executed) later-war-type wool (as can be seen on pictures). The straps come naturally mounted onto their truly simplified tongues (which are both constructed from a piece of greyish-green-coloured- and/or linnen-based cloth ie. braid) and do show hardly any usage nor wear ie. age (as can be seen on the pictures). Of interest is, moreover, also the fact that both straps show a (double) stripe of silverish-toned NCO-braid attached denoting that this particular pair was intended for a: 'Soldat u. Offiziers-Anwärter der Infanterie-Truppen' (or: simple infantry-soldier and/or officers'-candidate). The pair was I deem just minimally used and/or worn as such (as can be noticed on the pictures). It should be noted that these matching pairs of white-piped- thus 'Infanterie'-related and/or later-war period- (ie. 'simplified'- 'M44- o. M45'-pattern-) enlisted-mens'-type shoulderstraps are very desirable and can easily be graded 'very scarce' even more so when they come in this very nice and only minimally used- and/or worn, condition!
