Single, WH (Heeres) NCO-type (ie. 'M36- o. M40'-pattern- and 'rounded-styled-') neatly 'cyphered' shoulderstrap as was intended for usage by an: 'Uffz. des Gebirgsjäger-Rgts. 139' (part of the: '3. Gebirgs-Div.)
This is a very attractive - albeit regrettably single but nevertheless rarely found! - WH (Heeres) early- (ie. pre-) war-period, so-called: 'M36- o. M40'-pattern- (rounded-styled) neatly 'cyphered'- and/or darker-green- (ie. grüner-) piped, NCO-type shoulderstrap (as executed in early-styled so-called: 'Reichswehr'-period linnen!) as was intended for - and clearly worn by! - an: 'Unteroffizier des Gebirgsjäger-Regiments 139' (or: NCO and junior-sergeant who served within the army mountain-troops-regiment, numbered: '139') and that comes in an overall nice- (albeit moderately used ie. worn-), condition. The somewhat broader-shaped shoulderstrap - which measures approximately 11 cms. sized in length - does show the greenish-coloured- and/or linnen-based (ie. HBT-styled) 'upperdeck' and has the woolen-type piping attached. Moreover, does it show the neatly machine-embroidered and also darker-green-toned: '1'-, '3'- and/or '9'-cyphers ie. numerals (or: 'Ziffern') (which are excuted in so-called: 'Kurbelstickerei' as can be seen on the pictures). The strap - which came mounted onto its functional tongue - shows as stated above some moderate usage and/or wear (some minor staining and/or dust is visible and/or present). It should be noted that all 'cyphered'-pattern, WH (Heeres) 'Gebirgjäger'-related shoulderstraps can easily be regarded 'fairly scarce'. This strap originates from an older 'Gebirgjäger'-related shoulderstrap ie. board-collection that I recently acquired for the web-site. Simply a very attractive and/or: early-war-period, neatly 'cyphered' and/or 'Heeres'-related NCO-type shoulderstrap that was intended for usage by an: 'Unteroffizier des Gebirgsjäger-Rgts. 139' (part of the: '3. Gebirgs-Division')!
