Single, WH (Heeres) NCO-type (ie. 'M36- o. M40'-pattern- and 'rounded-styled-') neatly 'cyphered' shoulderstrap as was intended for usage by a: 'Feldwebel des Gebirgsjäger-Rgts. 139' (part of the: '3. Gebirgs-Div.')
This is an attractive - albeit regrettably single but nevertheless quite scarcely found! - WH (Heeres) early- (ie. pre-) war-period, so-called: 'M36- o. M40'-pattern- (rounded-styled) neatly 'cyphered'- and darker-green- (ie. grüner-) piped, NCO-type shoulderstrap as was intended for - and clearly worn by! - a: 'Feldwebel des Gebirgsjäger-Regiments 139' (or: NCO and sergeant who served within the army mountain-troops-regiment, numbered: '139') and that comes in an overall nice- (albeit moderately used ie. worn-), condition. The shoulderstrap - which is approximately 12,3 cms. sized in length and that does show the darker-green-coloured- and/or woolen-based 'upperdeck', woolen-type piping and 'standard'-pattern, silver-toned (ie. standard-issued) NCO-braid period-attached. Moreover, does it show a set of (matching, smaller-sized and/or aluminium-based) so-called: '1'-, '3'- and/or '9'-cyphers ie. numerals (or: 'Ziffern') and a (regular-sized- and also aluminium-based) pip period-attached. All four devices are nicely preserved but do show some obvious age and/or wear (as can be seen on the pictures). The strap - which came mounted onto its functional tongue - shows as stated above some moderate usage and/or wear (some minor staining and/or dust is visible and/or present). It should be noted that all 'cyphered'-pattern, WH (Heeres) 'Gebirgjäger'-related shoulderstraps can easily be regarded 'fairly scarce'. This strap - that came together with a field-grey-toned tunic-button - originates from an older 'Gebirgjäger'-related shoulderstrap ie. board-collection that I recently acquired for the web-site. Simply an attractive and/or: early-war-period, neatly 'cyphered' and/or 'Heeres'-related NCO-type shoulderstrap that was intended for usage by a: 'Feldwebel des Gebirgsjäger-Rgts. 139' (part of the: '3. Gebirgs-Division')!
