Regrettably single - but nevertheless rarely encountered! - WH (Heeres) 'tropical' (ie. truly 'DAK'-related!) EM-type shoulderstrap as was intended for a: 'Soldat der Jäger-Trpn.'
This is a truly attractive - albeit regrettably single but nevertheless rarely encountered! - I deem early-pattern, WH (Heeres) 'tropical' (ie. truly DAK- or 'Deutsches Afrikakorps'!) related, enlisted-mens-type shoulderstrap as was piped in the neat darker-green- (ie. 'grüner'-) coloured branchcolour as was specifically intended for - and with certainty worn by! - a: 'Soldat der Jäger-Truppen' (or: simple soldier who served within an army mountain-troopers- ie. infantry-related regiment) and that comes in an overall very nice- (albeit moderately used- ie. worn-), condition. The neat shoulderstrap - which measures approximately 11,2 cms. in length - has the neat darker-green- (ie. 'grüner'-) coloured and/or desirable 'silk-like'-type piping attached and comes mounted onto its functional tongue as issued and/or most certainly worn. The strap is in a fully 'text-book' condition and has a 'greenish-brown'-coloured and/or linnen-based 'upperdeck'. The strap is also 'backed' with earthen-brown-coloured wool, something that is more often encountered with early-period, genuine tropical ie. DAK- (or 'Deutsches Afrikakorps'-) related shoulderstraps. The strap is only minimally worn (it is just somewhat faded ie. slightly stained caused by regular usage) and comes in a truly great condition overall. It has never been cleaned and still shows some dirt ie. staining as caused by years of storage and moderate wear. As most certainly known are most DAK-shoulderstraps offered on todays' market copies: this is naturally a fine and 100% genuine, period piece for which I give a life-time garuantee (as always). Simply a superb - and as most certainly known very rarely encountered! - tropical-pattern, 'Jäger'-related EM-type shoulderstrap: too bad that it is only a single specimen!
