The neat and most certainly desirable pair - which was clearly used- and/or worn and that was carefully tunic-removed! - comes in an overall very nicely preserved condition. The straps - which are executed in typical black-coloured linnen, having the bright-blue-coloured- and/or neatly machine-embroidered '255'-numerals and/or equally coloured (rayon-based) piping attached - come mounted onto their period tongues as found. The neat straps measure approx. 11 cms. in length each as usually encountered and and can as such easily serve to complete any HJ tunic ie. 'Dienstbluse'. One of the straps still shows its period-attached 'RzM'-etiket something that is more often (but not always) encountered (as can be seen on the pictures). Both straps show three (typical smaller-sized, silverish-grey-coloured, identical- and/or zinc-based) pips and a thin-shaped (braid-based) 'Lasche' period-attached, denoting the unusually seen (high!) rank of a: 'HJ-Obergefolgschatsführer'. Both straps just show some moderate age and/or wear and come (as stated above) in a very nice condition without showing any damage or alike. It should be noted that all 'Flieger-HJ' (ie. flight 'Hitlerjugend') shoulderstrap-pairs can easily be graded 'scarce' and come not that often for sale even more so when they were intended for the unusually found 'Bann 255': being the 'Bann Helmstedt o. Wolfenbüttel-Helmstedt' that was situated in the: 'Gebiet Nord Niedersachsen'!
