Pair of neatly 'cyphered', WH (Luftwaffe) officers'-type shoulderboards: 'Leutnant des Festungs-Flakartillerie-Abtlgs o. Rgts. 7'
The truly attractive - and actually scarcely found! - pair is piped in the bright-red- (ie. 'hochroter'-) coloured branchcolour: as such, was it intended for usage by a junior airforce--officer ie.: 'Leutnant des Festungs-Flakartillerie-Abteilungs o. Rgts. 7' (or: lieutnant served within a specific fortress-anti-aircraft-unit, numbered: '7') and that comes in an overall nice- (ie. just moderately worn- ie. clearly used- and I deem carefully tunic-removed-), condition. The shoulderboards - which are constructed from the bright-red- (ie. 'hochroter'-) coloured and 'smooth-type' (ie. moleskin-like) wool - come in an excellent condition overall and will be hard to be upgraded (the pair is fully matching as can be seen on the pictures). The fairly 'shiny' appearance of the 'upperdecks' is fully present and/or preserved (something that is to be expected with a Luftwaffe-related pair). The pair shows a fully matching (bright-golden-toned, 'Buntmetall'-based and/or 'Gothic'-styled) so-called: 'F'-cyphers (ie. 'Ziffern') and dito '7'-numerals attached. The boards - that never had any tongues attached and that were most certainly intended to be used as a pair of the 'sew-in'-pattern - measure approximately 11,2 cms. in length each and are void of any damage or alike: they are just a tiny bit 'tarnished' by normal age and/or storage for decades (as can be seen on the pictures). Simply a great occasion to acquire an attractive, neatly 'cyphered' officers'-type LW-shoulderstrap-pair that was intended for a: 'Leutnant des Festungs-Flakartillerie-Abteilungs o. Rgts. 7' and that is with certainty accordingly priced!
