Pair of WH (Heeres officers'-type shoulderboards as (dual)piped in the white-coloured branchcolour as was intended for a: 'Hauptmann der Infanterie-Truppen'

The attractive pair is neatly (dual)piped in the white- (ie. 'weisser'-) coloured branchcolour and has the typical dove-grey-coloured 'underlay' and was intended for - and/or with certainty worn by! - a: 'Hauptmann der Infanterie-Truppen' (or: reserve-captain who served within the 'Infanterie'- ie. infantry-troops) and comes in an overall very nice- (albeit just moderately used-, worn- and/or: carefully tunic-removed-), condition. The shoulderboards are 'text-book'-examples of the 'Heeres'-type, 'Infanterie'-shoulderboards and have the silver-coloured (ie. somewhat 'sub-dued'-pattern) 'upperdecks' (as can be noticed on the pictures). The boards show the desirable white- (ie. 'weisser'-) coloured branchcolour and have the typical dove-grey-coloured 'underlay' (and were constructed from the typical 'smooth'-type wool as to be expected). The boards come mounted onto their typically smaller-sized tongues and were clearly used as such (as can be seen on the pictures). The boards measure approximately 11,3 cms. in length each and were most certainly issued- and/or worn as such and does show moderate age, wear and/or staining as to be expected. The pair - that was recently found at a German private-household - shows two fully matching sets of (neatly bright-golden-toned- and regular-sized) pips, period-attached. All four devices are just minimally stained- ie. tarnished but have preserved a fine and fairly bright- (and/or quite shiny!) age-patina. Simply a very attractive set that belonged to a: 'Hauptmann der Infanterie-Truppen'!
