Pair of early- (ie. mid-) war-period so-called: 'M40'-pattern, WH (Heeres) EM-type shoulderstraps as piped in the 'grüner'-coloured branchcolour as intended for a: 'Soldat eines eines Jäger- o. Gebirgsjäger-Rgts.'
The truly very attractive - most certainly rarely encountered, fully 'text-book' and in all respects matching! - pair of 'standard-issued'- (ie. most certainly 'non-privately-purchased'!) pattern, WH (Heeres) enlisted-mens'-type shoulderstrap-pair is piped in the desirable, neat green- (ie. 'grüner'-) coloured branchcolour and measures approximately 11,5 cms. in length each. The straps have the desirable green- (ie. 'grüner'-) coloured- and/or: typical woolen-type piping attached (as is more often encountered with these early-war-period shoulderstrap-pairs) and was as such intended for usage by a: 'Soldat eines Jäger- o. Gebirgsjäger-Regiments' (or: simple soldier who served within a mountain-troops-related regiment). The shoulderstraps are typical 'standard-issued'-examples that have the darker-green-coloured- and/or (smooth)woolen-based 'upperdecks': they were - I deem - just minimally used ie. worn and do show some truly minimal wear, age and/or staining (as can be seen on the pictures). The straps come naturally mounted onto their functional tongues. These very desirable 'M40- o. 41'-pattern, army 'Jäger- o. Gebirgsjäger'-related EM-type shoulderstraps as piped in the green- (ie. 'grüner'-) coloured branchcolour can nowadays easily be graded 'rare' and are very desirable. Simply a very attractive - and fully matching! - shoulderstrap-pair that belonged a: 'Soldat eines Jäger-o. Gebirgsjäger-Regiments' and that is priced according to its unmistaken rarity and/or desirability!
