The truly attractive - and most certainly quality-produced and - I deem - early-war-period produced! - naval-award or: 'Blockadebrecher-Kriegsabzeichen' (ie. blocade-runner war-badge) comes in an overall very nice- (albeit I deem just minimally used- ie. worn-), condition as recently found. The badge truly retains great pronounced detail and is executed in bright- (and somewhat shiny ie. 'frosted'!) silver-toned finish (as can be seen on the pictures): the piece was never cleaned nor polished (but was, nevertheless, moderately used and/or worn). The regular-sized badge (which is of the typical 'Buntmetall'-based, 'dish-back'-pattern-) shows a clearly present makers'-designation (that simply reads: 'Fec. Otto Placzek Berlin - Ausf. Schwerin - Berlin') as is to be expected by a quality-produced war-badge by this desirable maker. The regular-sized award comes naturally mounted onto its (fully functional- and totally unaltered) (typical) pin- and/or pin-catch set-up as to be expected. I deem that I have priced this attractive 'Blockadebrecher-Kriegsabzeichen' by the very desirable 'Hersteller 'Schwerin - Berlin', accordingly!
