Darker-blue-coloured- and/or woolen-based so-called: 'Reichspost'-related armband (ie. 'Armbinde') being of the 'woven'-type and that comes in a moderately used- ie. worn, condition
This is an attractive - and with certainty not that often seen! - example of a darker-blue-coloured- and/or typical woolen-based so-called: 'Reichspost'-related armband (ie. 'Armbinde') being of the 'woven'-type and that comes in an overall nice- (albeit moderately used- ie. worn-), condition. These woolen-based armbands were presumably intended for usage by the various 'Reichspost'-staff-members and/or officials and and were (presumably) worn on the left upper-arm. This example - having a total size of approximately 38 cms. and that is 8 cms. wide as more often - is constructed from darker-blue-coloured- and/or woolen-based cloth: it shows a (golden-yellow-toned) left-facing eagle-device and the neatly (machine-embroidered) text: 'Reichspost' (as can be seen on the pictures). This example is void of any marking nor ink-stamp and just shows minimal age and/or wear: moreover, can it be sized in length by means of a ('heavy-duty'!) metal-based closing-system (as can be seen on the pictures). Of additional interest is, moreover, the fact that this example shows on its inside a (hard-to-decypher) makers'-designation-stamp (as can be noticed on the pictures). This example originates from a larger-sized armband-collection that was compiled over the years and that I recently acquired for the web-site. Simply a very nice and with certainty scarcely seen 'Reichspost'-related armband that is priced according to its comparative rarity and/or desirability!
