Very unusual - and most certainly not often seen! - EM- (ie. NCO-) pattern (I deem) 'Reichsluftschutzbund' (ie. 'RLB'-) service-armband showing the interwoven text: 'Pflichtfeuerwehr'
This is an attractive - and with certainty scarcely encountered! - bright-red-coloured- and (I deem) EM- (ie. NCO-) pattern, so-called: 'Reichsluftschutzbund' (ie. 'RLB'-) related service-armband (ie. 'Dienst-Armbinde') that is depicting the white-coloured- (and neatly 'BeVo'-type!) text that reads: 'Pflichtfeuerwehr' onto a bright red-toned background as was (I deem) specifically intended for usage by a member serving as an: 'RLB-Feuerwehr'-staff-member and that comes in an overall nice- (ie. just moderately used- and/or most certainly once tunic-attached-), condition. These attractive armbands were worn on the various blue-coloured RLB- (ie. eventually WLS- ie. 'Werk-Luftschutz'-related) tunics throughout the war. The nicely detailed armband on offer here - which measures approximately 40 x 10,2 cms. - shows fair usage- and wear: it come loose but shows no damage whatsoever: it just shows some minimal staining and wear (as can be seen on the pictures). The piece shows a (hard to decypher) ink-stamp which shows in any case the towns-name: 'Celle' and also shows a single pip period-attached presumably denoting a rank (as can be noticed on the pictures). Simply an attractive - and with certainty scarcely encountered! - 'Reichsluftschutzbund' (ie. 'RLB'-) service-armband as was specifically intended for usage by an: 'RLB-Pflichtfeuerwehr Mitglied'!
