Single, WH (Luftwaffe) collar-tab (ie. 'Kragenspiegel für Offiziere des Ingenieurskorps der Luftwaffe') as was specifically intended for usage by a: 'Flieger-Hauptstabsingenieur' (being a rank similar to: 'Oberst')

This is an attractive - regrettably single but nevertheless fairly rarely encountered! - neatly hand-embroidered, WH (Luftwaffe) collar-tab (ie. 'Kragenspiegel für Offiziere des Ingenieurskorps der Luftwaffe') as was executed on a (typical) bright-pink-coloured background as was specifically intended for usage by an officer ie. engineer holding the (high-placed!) rank of a: 'Flieger-Hauptstabsingenieur' (being a rank similar to: 'Oberst' or: full colonel) and that comes in an overall very nice- (and I deem hardly used- nor tunic-attached-), condition. The tab is executed in the neat smooth- (ie. 'moleskin'-like-) wool and shows truly extraordinary detail: the shown craftmanship is simply stunning (as can be noticed on the pictures). The backing of the tab is constructed of beige-white-coloured, so-called 'buckram'-based cloth (as can be seen on the pictures). The tab shows some minimal age- ie. staining simply caused by decades of storage and possible wear (as can be seen on the pictures). These bright pink-coloured, higher-ranked LW-collar-tab-pairs as intended for senior-staffmembers of the 'Ingenieurkorps der Luftwaffe' are truly very hard to encounter and can easily be graded 'rare'. The tab was once glued into an album or scrapbook and does show some minimal carton-remains on its back. Simply a very attractive collar-tab that belonged to a: 'Flieger-Hauptstabsingenieur' (being a rank similar to: 'Oberst'): too bad that it is only a single example!
