WH Czech-occupation- (ie. 'Anschluss'-) medal: '1. Oktober 1938' being a neat (and virtually mint!) example that came together with its full-length ribbon as issued and/or recently found
This medal (ie. 'Medaille zur Erinnerung an den 1. Oktober 1938') was awarded to all members of the armed forces that participated in the German occupation of Czechoslovakia that started on: '1. Oktober 1938' and is a very attractive and/or truly very detailed- (most certainly issued albeit never-mounted and simply never worn-) example having great pronounced detail. The medal on offer here has a very nicely preserved (and fully present!) bright golden-bronze-toned finish that is void of any tarnish: it has simply never been cleaned nor polished and truly retains almost all of its period golden-toned- (ie. 'Brennlacquered'-) finish (as can be seen on the pictures). The detailed medal came together with its non-confectioned- (ie. pre-folded- and full length ie. 19 cms.-sized) piece of ribbon (ie. 'Bandabschnitt') and also came together with its period piece of thin-shaped 'wrapping-paper' as issued. Simply an attractive - and complete! - Czech 'Anschluss'-medal that is I deem accordingly priced!
