'Kriegsverdienstmedaille 1939'-set comprising of a non-maker-marked- (and/or: typical 'Buntmetall'-based!) specimen that came together with its period-ribbon and 'Zellstoff'-based pouch by the maker: 'Steinhauer & Lück'

This is a very attractive example of a: 'Kriegsverdienstmedaille 1939' (or: War Merits'-medal 1939) being a typical, non-maker-marked- and/or golden-bronze-toned- (and 'Buntmetall'-based!) specimen that came together with its (truly bright-red-coloured, regular-sized- ie. 19 cms. long-sized and unconfectioned) ribbon and reddish-brown-coloured 'Zellstoff'-based pouch by the (for this award unusually seen!) maker: 'Steinhauer & Lück' as was based in the town of Lüdenscheid and that comes as issued and/or recently found. The award was presumably issued but was simply never worn nor used (nor even mounted): it has an attractive (darkened) golden-bronze-coloured age-patina and was most certainly never cleaned nor polished and therefore are details and/or finish still very nice and/or crisp. The piece is just a bit tarnished and stained but was never cleaned (as can be seen on the pictures). Simply a neat - and fully complete! - example of a: 'Kriegsverdienstmedaille 1939' (or: War-Merits'-medal 1939) that will be very hard to be upgraded!
